This helpful little page should save people some time when it comes to domain names (e.g. bob.com) and IP addresses (e.g. 123.12.3.100).

So, what can you use this page for and what does that mean? Well a few examples would be: Want a know if a domain name has been registered? Who it is registered to? When was it registered? When is it registered till? Where it points to (it's IP address) or maybe the other way around, did you have an IP address and you'd like to see if it belonged to a company, or what site it resolved to or what ISP that person is on? (that last one is known as a Reverse DNS lookup).

Why is that useful? Well say you've been having someone try and access your PC or something and you've got their IP, you can stick that in here and it will tell you their IP, country and probably their nearest big city.

Chances are it will also tell you the contact details for their ISP so you can contact them about it. It will also list the owner of a domain name/site if you put an address in (i.e. google.co.uk) and their contact details, address etc.

Just so you can test it, your own IP is 38.107.191.98.
