My actual
name is Benjamin Edward James Hodgetts or just... 'Ben' really, much easier. A bit of a geek but trying not to be.

Currently searching for my place in this life, my calling and real purpose as well as that special someone to search with or maybe even show me the way (awww). Now if you've all finished vomiting...
I love nothing more than lounging around with friends in indie bars (*cough* Heroes *cough*) or preferably at someone else's house (cheaper drink, less distance to travel, somewhere to crash, much simpler). Uber fan of CHEESY CHIPS and JELLY BEANS! Anyone that nay-says those two gifts from the gods deserves to be flushed down a toilet, ovaries first. I ride a Kawasaki GPZ500S Motorbike because I'm fearless... well actually it was because it was cheaper to run and insure, but it is -far- more fun than a car (except in the rain anyhow). Now, onto the interests...
Music first and foremost, nothing beats a soundtrack to distract the mind. I have to admit I like anything that has a good tune and results in involuntary bobbing of body parts. Ska is probably one of the top genres for this, but on the other side of things I'd have to say 80's classic rock tracks (Toto, Mr Mister, etc). Alternatively Celtic styles are great to relax to, anything by groups like Solas and Three Daft Monkeys.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, capturing surreal images mainly, but more of that
here.
Mountain-Biking, always good fun. I love going off-road and through rough roads and tracks, but also just using my bike to get to work (and taking the wrong route to make it far more fun). Keeps you somewhat more fit and is great fun in the process.
TV wise I'd have to recommend Mind, Body and Kick Ass Moves as a must see series on martial arts as well as 24, Heroes and Lost for general time-wasting. ALSO, a little-known drama/comedy/cop series named 'Life' is amazing and everyone should watch it, no excuses. I also love old-school comedies such as Red Dwarf and Blackadder. Comedy rules all and always will, nothing better to brighten your day or fix any problem.
For
Movies, well nothing beats old-school hits like the Die Hard series, anything by Jackie Chan really, who doesn't love Engrish mixed with crazy stunts. Not a big fan of horror movies unless they are actually very good, many are just too silly or the same thing all over again. As an example SAW 1 was good, 2 was OK, then they started milking it. And yes, I like the Disney movie Aladdin, who doesn't! And leaving the best for last, my favourite movie of all time is Equilibrium, because it is made of pure, unrefined awesome.
